Vibrates at 60mph...any suggestions?

I just bought a 98 Savage about a week ago and I love it. I had a little scooter when I was 14-15 but this is the first bike I have ever had. My only complaint is that it starts vibrating about 60mph. I have a 30 mile commute, most of which is on a 70mph highway and don't want to get run over.
It has a supertrapp muffler and I am going to replace the main gasket next week cause it's leaking. Other than that I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
